AVID is designed to increase school-wide learning and performance. The mission of AVID is to ensure that all students, especially the least served students in the middle, complete a college preparatory path.
AVID students will:
Succeed in the most rigorous curriculum,
Enter mainstream activities of the school,
Increase their enrollment in four-year colleges and
Become educated and responsible participants and leaders in a democratic society.
