About Us >
The Smarter Balanced Assessment is California’s statewide student assessment system, aligned to Common Core State Standards. Only Juniors (11th graders) will take this test in Math and English Language Arts (ELA). This assessment serves as an indicator of readiness for college-level coursework.
The Smarter Balanced Assessment will take place over a two-week period; March 27th - April 7th. This assessment will be given using a block schedule, which are approximately two-hour classes. Every-other-day will be assigned to even and odd classes, except the Fridays (refer to linked schedule below). Juniors will test with their Math and English teachers.
