PTSA
What is Granite Hills PTSA?

The PTSA at Granite Hills is a group of parents, teachers and students advocating for all students.  This guide summarizes the PTSA programs and includes the school phone numbers, a bell schedule, PTSA calendar, and phone directory. Keep this directory of information handy throughout the year.

PTSA GOALS

  • Communication:  Integrate & provide information about upcoming Granite Hill’s activities, programs and events through the High Flyer newsletter, meetings, forums, PTSA web page, and e-mail updates.
Student Participation:  Develop emerging student leaders and engage youth through participation on the PTSA board and committees.
Parent Volunteers on Campus:   We believe parents are their children’s first and best teachers and that parent involvement is essential throughout a child’s educational experience.  We encourage parent participation on the PTSA Board and committees and help develop and coordinate a program for parent volunteers on campus.

MISSION STATEMENT

  • The mission of the California State PTA is to represent our members and to empower and support them with skills in advocacy, leadership, and communication to positively impact the lives of all children.
