Semester I is quickly coming to an end. Finals will begin on Monday, December 15, 2008 and end on Thursday, December 18, 2008.  There is a Faculty Work Day on Friday, December 19, 2008—no school for students. We begin Semester II on Monday, January 5, 2009.  

Students can continue to make up excessive absences (over 10 absences) for Semester I during Semester II.  See your Assistant Principal for available make-up dates and times. No student should lose credit because of excessive absences!  

Thank you to our community for passing Prop U and allowing us to finish the modernization of our school! We have begun planning for this new construction to begin.  Special thanks to students, teachers and parents who assisted with Prop U phone-bank calling and especially some of our ASB students who were calling with us every week—Andrew Nashed, ASB President, Danielle Jones, ASB Secretary, Nikki Dennis, Brooke Hatfield, and Rachel Turner.  Thank you!!

STAR testing will begin in late March 2009 and we have begun the planning for the revised schedule. Once the schedule is finalized, we will post the STAR schedule on our website. We are confident we can increase our scores significantly this year!
