Many of our student-athletes earned Grossmont South League recognition at the conclusion of the winter sports season.

Boys' Basketball: Dean Miller was named the League Player of the Year and garnered first-team honors, while Aaron Harris was named to the second team.

Girls' Basketball: Junior Sabrina Jimenez was named to the first team, and Lauren Bender earned second-team honors.

Boys' Soccer: J.T. Alba, Eric Christianson and junior Richard Perez were named to the first team; juniors Alec Alba, Leo Bovey and senior Marco De La Mora were named to the second team.

Girls' Soccer: Tayler Francel, Danielle Jones and junior Lauren Kale earned first-team honors; sophomore Brooke Gandy and Ariel Howie made the second team. Francel was also named to the Union-Tribune's All-San Diego Section First Team.

Girls' Water Polo: River Croteau-Hanson, Sierra Warren, Kyla Whittier and Brianna Wilbur garnered first-team honors, while juniors Danielle Perry and Michelle Perry earned second-team honors. Croteau-Hanson was named the League Player of the Year; she was also named to the Union-Tribune's All-San Diego Section First Team.

Wrestling: Victor Castro was named to the first team.
